Can disinfectant go down the drain?
Normal, label-directed use is one thing. Disposing of leftover product is not normal use.

01
Why the pipe objects
A disinfectant is formulated to kill microbes, which means concentrated disposal may also harm septic biology or wastewater treatment.
02
Do this instead
Use the exact label amount and take leftover concentrate to a local household-hazardous-waste program when directed.
03
Already did it?
Never combine cleaning products. If a large amount was poured out, ventilate the area, follow the product label and contact Poison Control or your wastewater authority for guidance.
