Why the pipe objects
The measured wash dose is designed for a wastewater stream; pouring out a jug or many pods creates a concentrated surfactant load.

Use or donate usable detergent. Keep spills out of drains and follow local guidance for unwanted bulk product.

Never combine cleaning products. If a large amount was poured out, ventilate the area, follow the product label and contact Poison Control or your wastewater authority for guidance.
